MM Points Races

The points races for 2012 have been completed.  The rankings were based on the best 26 races; half of the 51 races run this year. Congratulations to the winners.

Points Race 1, March 25

Big wind...gusty with knock-down puffs. After 3 races and 4 drop-outs, we took an early lunch and watched it grow.

And grow. Consensus was to call it a day, and we did.

Thanks to Larry Koenig for conducting today's event and to John Cameron and Rich Frauenzimmer who stepped in at the end of the second race and helped during an extremely competitive finish.

Points Race 2, May 27

A great day and eight skippers participated. The finish was particularly challenging during a couple of races. Congratulations to Pete, Don and Shoe for their first, second and third place finishies for the day.

Points Race 3, July 29

A fantastic day weatherwise combined with a day of exceptional sportsmanship was enjoyed by eight competitors today. Congratulations to Pete, Don and Rod Swift for their first, second and third place finishes.

Points Race 4, September 30

Ten skippers competed on one very warm day. Pete, Shoe and Don earned bragging rights for the day by virtue of their first, second and third place finishes, respectively.
